The Service Location Protocol (SLP, RFC 2608) is disabled by default on PCoIP Zero Clients and is enabled by default on Remote Workstation Cards.
No action is necessary if SLP has not been enabled. It is recommended to disable SLP if Zero Clients or Remote Workstations are exposed on the internet. SLP can be disabled following the steps below.
If SLP has been enabled, do one of the following:
Disable it from the session tab of the OSD.
From your PCoIP Management Console, apply a profile to your PCoIP endpoints with SLP Discovery disabled. For further details, see Managing Profiles in the PCoIP Management Console Administrators' Guide (in English).
