Introduction

This document contains steps for printing a test page from the HP printer. Use the test page to view current printer information and cartridge status. You can also use the test page to help troubleshoot issues with the printer.

This video shows the HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One Printer series (H711), but the steps are the same for your printer.

Printing a test page

Follow these steps to print a test page.
  1. Load unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
  2. Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
  3. On the HP printer control panel, touch the Right arrow () to display additional options.
  4. Touch Setup (). The Setup Menu displays.
  5. Touch the Down arrow (), and then touch Reports.
  6. Touch Printer Status Report. The test page prints.
